Ajax is worldwide known by its Youth Academy. Behind this success stands a strong philosophy. By enrolling in this program, you, as a coach or interested individual, will get to know how our Youth Academy is organised and how we apply our philosophy to develop talents who can make a difference at Champions League level. After following the program, you will be able to translate the knowledge and inspiration about Ajax to your own work within the sport.

What does the education program look like?
You will learn the ins and outs of all the departments that contribute to the development of our youth players. Every week we will publish a new topic online on Monday morning, giving you the opportunity to watch it again later. We will also organise three live sessions during the education program, which you will have the opportunity to ask your questions to our Ajax Experts.
Enrollment
Enrollment is possible until September 1, 2023, 12:00 CET. The program will also start in September. You will be notified of the exact start date of the education program at the end of August.
What topics will we cover?
To start the course with enough basic knowledge, you will be given access to the first topic 'Ajax DNA' from the 30th of August. We advise you to study this topic ahead of the start of the education program.

After following the program, you will be able to translate the knowledge and inspiration about Ajax to your own work within the sport. In this way, you will improve or strengthen your own philosophy to develop talent. You also possess the basic knowledge to follow more of our 2 and 3 star education programs.

1* Ajax Education Program - The Company Ajax
Behind the football section of the club is a large organisation with departments that contribute to growing the Ajax brand. These departments are essential to making the first team's ambitions come true. They make sure supporters' match attendance is as good as possible, handle all merchandise, create and maintain relationships with sponsors and much more. The 1* Ajax Education Program - The Company Ajax will start in the second half of the season and will learn you how the commercial side of the club works and how they contribute to the Ajax philosophy.
2* Ajax Education Programs With the broad knowledge you have gained, you can move on to the 2* Ajax Education Programs. In this pathway, you will gain additional depth in the subjects you are most interested in from the 1* Ajax Education Program.
Our teachers
The sessions of the 1* Ajax Education Program - The Youth Academy are led by Ajax Coaching Academy Head of Education Bart Logchies and Ajax Youth Academy Expert Roy Lagendijk. The Education Program has additionally been developed in cooperation with Ajax Youth Academy staff.
