Ajax takes the next step in expanding its international football network. Al Bidda SC from Qatar is added to the network, which also includes CF Pachuca (Mexico), Gamba Osaka (Japan), Athlético Paranaense (Brazil), and Sharjah FC (UAE). In addition, Ajax will use the football knowledge and coaches of the Ajax Coaching Academy to further contribute to the development of youth players through various other activities.

During a Club Network Summit, Ajax exchanged knowledge and experiences with all international partner clubs. The two-day Summit was held at de Toekomst and in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Ajax aims to recognise, develop, and improve talents together with the clubs.

Ajax and the Japanese club Gamba Osaka will start a strategic collaboration to develop Japan's talent identification and development initiatives. For Ajax, this collaboration is a significant chance to strengthen the worldwide football network and identify young talents in Japanese football. "Considering our goal of finding talent in all places of the world, Japan is a very interesting market", Marijn Beuker says.

Ajax and Gamba Osaka are delighted to announce a strategic partnership to advance talent identification and development initiatives in Japan. This exclusive collaboration is scheduled to extend over an initial three-year period.

Ajax and partner club Sharjah FC will continue their partnership. Both parties agreed on a three-year contract extension. The partnership started in 2020. Four experienced Ajax coaches are helping to improve the local youth academy in the United Arab Emirates.

A dream came true for Vera Sweers when she heard she was allowed to join Ajax’s Talent Team U16. The talented teen grew up in Spain and Dubai, where she first learned about the Ajax philosophy. Vera’s transfer is a first because never before has a player from the United Arab Emirates transferred to the Amsterdam-based youth academy.

Ajax and Club Athletico Paranaense (Athletico-PR) will collaborate on talent scouting and development in South America. The specific focus of this is on Brazil. The exclusive collaboration will last for five years, with an option to extend five more seasons.

Flushed faces and excited voices. It was buzzing at sports complex de Toekomst last Sunday, where the final meeting of the Ajax Training 2022/2023 was held. The participants of the 2* Ajax Education Program followed completed the final session of their course and were awarded their certificates together with the participants of the 1* Ajax Education Program. Perhaps there is a bright future ahead for them at Ajax. "What sets Ajax apart from other clubs is that we always strive for quality and always want to bring it onto the pitch. That's why we need people who really understand what Ajax stands for."

Since the summer of 2022, Ajax and CF Pachuca have been working together to share knowledge and talent development. The Mexican club participated in the Future Cup at sports complex De Toekomst during Easter weekend. This a wonderful milestone in the collaboration. "It's an honour for us to be here."
