During this seminar, which focuses on youth football, we will show you how these qualities fit within our football philosophy and how they are translated into our training sessions.

In preparation for this seminar, complete the 1* and 2* Ajax Education Programs online.

To play Ajax football and develop the Ajax player, we need to understand exactly how to build the right basic skills and movement variations – and how to apply these within our style of play.

In this seminar, you will learn how to design a training session based on teambehaviours and footballbehaviours, and how to translate these concepts onto the pitch.

Next to that, there will be opportunities to expand your international network and experience Ajax in many different ways.

Prepare for the seminar online from home

To prepare for the seminar in February 2026, it is required that you complete the following online courses before attending:

1* Ajax “Our Club” – Education Program (NEW version)
2* Ajax “The Anatomy of Our Football” – Education Program (NEW version)

These online programs are not included in the seminar fee, but they provide the essential foundation to fully understand the Ajax philosophy and get the most out of the three-day seminar.

Day 1 - 10:00-16:00

  • Welcome and start program
  • Evaluation online Ajax 1* & 2* course
  • Design a training session 1 - Teambehaviours & Footballbehaviours
  • Evaluation training session 1 by Ajax experts
  • Guided tour at Sports Complex de Toekomst

Day 2 - 10:00-16:00

  • Evaluation day 1 and start program day 2
  • Design your training session 2 - Teambehaviours & Footballbehaviours
  • Pitch field training session 2  
  • Feedback / redesign training session 2
  • Practical training session 2
  • Evaluation training session 2
  • Evaluation day 2

Day 3 - 10:00-15:00

  • Start program day 3
  • Presentation field training by Ajax expert 
  • Watching a demo training
  • Evaluation demo training and International Seminar
  • Graduation Ceremony
  • Guided tour Johan Cruijff ArenA

Registration

International and national trainer/coaches are welcome in this seminar. Please note: If you have a KNVB/UEFA licence, you will receive 6 KNVB licence points after participating. If you are affiliated to another association, please contact your own association. 

Registration is open until the 13th of February. However, we have a limited number of spots available, so registration may possibly close earlier.
